The Gem Face is a Germanium transistor fuzz, based on the beautiful simplicity of the classic Fuzz Face circuit.
Bias mod to match this circuit. From a lush roll of, to a gated extreme fuzz. This one i equeped with a new old stock Texas instruments 2N1305 and a up-cycled Mullard OC84.
Built with a mix of up cycled and NOS components in a Gørva design enclosure painted gold hammer tone. The tread is made of a composite material made from recycled leather and recycled plastic. The knobs are two beautiful Les Paul type gold knobs, and a black bell knob on the side.
This pedal is negative ground and require isolated power supply. Use standard boss 9v, or similar, (center negative) no battery option.
